Investment in infrastructure throughout their Canadian operations is a key priority and as such, the role of Senior Manager, Infrastructure has been newly created. Reporting to the Director, Engineering & Projects, the Senior Manager, Infrastructure will be responsible for managing the development of successful large terminal infrastructure projects from concept through design to delivery. Working within dynamic 24/7 operations at multiple sites, the Senior Manager, Infrastructure will effectively engage with and manage relationships with a variety of multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders, both internally and externally. This key position will ensure that all work is completed in accordance to project schedules and budgets and that any issues that arise, are dealt with in a timely and pragmatic manner.
The ideal candidate is a highly effective project leader with a specific track record of success in managing complex, high value capital infrastructure projects($100m+). The Senior Manager, Infrastructure will be current with best practices and methodologies pertaining to estimating, scheduling, costing, design and construction of projects with continually evolving requirements, preferably within the marine, energy or industrial sectors. As the project lead within a multi-site setting, the chosen candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build consensus and support amongst stakeholders with varying interests. The Senior Manager, Infrastructure will lead by example and be a champion of safety practices and culture, taking a collaborative and inclusive approach to managing their team and encouraging creativity and innovation. The inaugural Senior Manager will be a highly-driven self-starter that instills confidence while remaining humble.
