As we start to close off another “new way of working” year for PMI-SAC, I want to say thank you!
We did so much to bring our chapter from in-person to virtual and now to Hybrid. We had some amazing speakers this year. Our virtual events were well attended and had a core group that came to most everyone. We had our first in-person event – our Golf Tournament – and even through the pouring rain, the skies opened up just enough for us to have a great time. Our stampede event was so much fun, an event that was greatly missed within our city. Our social media in the last quarter has really taken off with so many of our community of practice are more engaged and interacting among the PMI family. This week I received a message from LinkedIN that we ranked 7 out of 10 in follower growth among competitors in the last 30 days. We are at 1468 followers – gaining 60 new followers this month!! We were able to have our AGM at Fort Calgary – one of our favorite venues – and even though it was bad weather we had a good turnout. But most of all who can forget our PDC – We really did get this!!! About 300 attendees and an amazing line-up of speakers and workshops.!!
