Omoniyi Babalola is a certified Scrum Trainer, SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), ACP, and PMP with expertise in project management, governance, risk, compliance, IT audit, and security. As a Managing Consultant at IBM, he works with clients on different transformations and critical projects, helping them balance delivery speed with the security frameworks and control environments that keep them compliant and defensible.
With CISA, CRISC, CISM, and AWS Solutions Architect certifications, Omoniyi brings a practical perspective to technology initiatives where security, compliance, audit, and delivery need to work together. He’s built a career helping organizations move forward while maintaining the controls and audit trails that keep them compliant and secure.
His leadership experience extends beyond consulting. Omoniyi previously served as National Communications Coordinator for the Navy League of Canada, managing communications strategy and stakeholder engagement for 12,000 cadets in 230 communities across Canada, and as AVP Communications for PMI-SAC, supporting the Vice President in advancing the chapter’s visibility and member engagement across Southern Alberta.
He’s the Editor-in-chief of Agile Sharks Magazine, a publication for IT professionals. An alumnus of Harvard University and Purdue University, Omoniyi believes in learning as an ongoing practice, not a destination.
