Nominations & Elections
Nominations and Election Governance
Annually the members of the Project Management Institute Southern Alberta Chapter will elect individuals to serve on the PMI-SAC Board of Directors for two-year term and an official Call for Nominations for Open Positions is published. This year’s election (October 2018) there are 4 positions; next year (2019) there will be 5 open positions. The Call for Nominations provides valuable information on the nomination and election process including action items and timeline.
Board member duties are defined in the Bylaws; and the election process is also governed, with details found in Article VI within the Bylaws.
Board service requires great effort and a varying time commitment depending upon the position you are seeking.
To better understand the roles and obligations of an elected Director and for further details on the nomination and election process carefully read the following documentation:
Please note that you must already be an active PMI-SAC Chapter member at the opening date of any election to be able to cast your vote.
