TitleHow Calgary’s CIOs responded to the Covid-19 Pandemic (1 PDU)
WhenMay 28th, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Description

Ethier facilitates several industry Roundtables that allow us to support our clients while gaining insights on specialized functions across over 30 organizations in Alberta. Two of the Roundtables engage Calgary CIOs in discussions on industry trends and challenges. As the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions started to take place, the CIOs started to enact their Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and moved their employees from their offices to Working from Home (WFH). Ethier facilitated a series of meetings which allowed the CIOs to share their experiences as they reacted to the rapidly evolving situation

In this presentation, Sohail will discuss some of the key learnings and findings from the CIO responses to the pandemic including:

  • How they managed to enable many thousands of employees to quickly transition to working remotely, significantly reducing the risks associated with the outbreak.
  • Challenges and learnings from their experiences.
  • Moving forward and the defining the “New Normal”
