Course Objectives:

  • Understand the main functionalities and unleash the full potential of MS Project 2016 and Project Online Tools
  • Use the tool for Planning, Execute, Monitor and Control projects
  • Apply Best Practices on scheduling
  • Control the project schedule, budget, scope and resources
  • Generate reports and communicate with project team

Who Should Attend:

  • Are you a regular user of MS Project?
  • Are you a regular user of MS Project?
  • Are you really using the full potential of the MS Project Desktop tool?
  • Are you really using MS Project correctly?

This workshop is targeted to participants who wants to learn how to use MS Project to its fullest potential.  Participants will also learn how to augment the MS Project tool to capture more than just the basic schedule data.  Through this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to learn more about MS Project Online, MS Power BI and Office 365 functionalities.

This will be a hands-on workshop and require each participant to come with their own laptops and a copy of MS Project.  Project managers who uses MS Project or would like to learn about this tool are encouraged to join this workshop.

  • This workshop will count towards 7 PDUs
  • Breakfast and Lunch will be provided

Paulo Camargo is currently a Portfolio, Program and Project Management Consultant for The City of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta. He has worked in PMO and Project Management for organizations such as Nirico Systems, ATCO Structures & Logistics, ATCO Power, TransAlta, City of Calgary, Siemens, Electrolux, Nortel Network, and BellSouth International. Paulo is Past President of PMI-Southern Alberta Chapter and of PMI – Pernambuco, Brazil Chapter, currently responsible for training NGOs on Project Management. He has received his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Parana/Brazil and is a certified trainer for Canada for Project Model Canvas and PMO Value Ring.
