Project Management Institute Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) coordinates and facilitates a number of events throughout each year for the benefit of our membership. Most of these events include both an opportunity for face-to-face networking as well as professional development and Professional Development Units (PDUs) for maintaining Project Management Institute credentials.
Examples of the types of events the Chapter offers include:
- Chapter Dinner meetings – these meetings are held monthly September through May of each year; they start with cocktails and networking, move on to dinner, and end with an entertaining, informative speaker on a topic relevant to the Project Management community.
- Professional Development Conference – this is our largest event; held annually, it’s two jamb-packed days filled with learning and networking opportunities for Project Management professionals.
- PMI-SAC Awards – this is our annual opportunity to formally acknowledge excellence in our project management community; the event offers networking with the nominees and other Project Management professionals, the awards presentation, and a meal.
