John Moura

John is passionate about Project Management and data driven decisions. As VP Operations of PMI-SAC, he had been driving the alignment between the long-term strategy and shorter-term yearly goals. Developing a set of KPIs made it easier to track progress and focus the board energy on the most important decisions and activities. He has always been measured by how aligned results were to the Strategic Plans of the companies which he worked with.

Since obtaining his PMP designation over 12 years ago, he has been conducting PM activities daily and linking strategy to execution either at work, through volunteer tasks at two PMI chapters, by teaching project management, speaking about project management or participating in other PM-related networking groups. For the past 20 years in his career, he has been a Project, Program, Portfolio and PMO manager.
