Communication Data Analyst

Opportunity Description

An exciting opportunity exists for communications data analysts with the PMISAC communications team. This role will report to the analytics lead and be supported by the rest of the data analytics team. The data analysts will collect and analyze communication effort metrics to provide recommendations on improvement.

Deliverables

* Measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns, content, programs and channels (e.g. website, emails, blogs/content, social media, etc.)
* Provide insight into Chapter Development rep performance and metrics
* Devise and evaluate methods for collecting, storing and maintaining data
* Develop stakeholder reporting and dashboards for team leads and board members to keep us focused on what matters most
*Develop and maintain regular scorecards for the chapter that reports on the key performance indicators
*Provide data-driven approaches and acumen within the Communication team

Duties

* Collect website, email and social media metrics (monthly); provide recommendations on improvements to the marketing team.
* Website, newsletter, email and social media metrics maintenance (sheet updated min. of monthly). Recommendations as needed. * Research various web platforms to unearth cool trends and patterns to help us tell compelling stories to membership, community and develop our thought leadership using data

Prerequisites

Experience:

* Analytics for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X) and website analytics insights knowledge/experience
* Great communication/presentation skills;
* An ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel.
* Familiar with using digital marketing analytic tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, AdWords Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
* Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of proficiency in data retrieval/manipulation.
* Experience developing surveys to gather user insight/data using technologies.
* Interest or education in marketing or communications preferred.
