Our Volunteers Make a Difference Every Day

We celebrate and recognize our volunteers and their contributions to making a difference for the chapter and the project management community through several initiatives.

PMI-SAC Volunteer Awards

  • Volunteers receive a gift certificate, and a volunteer profile in the PMI-SAC newsletter and on the PMI-SAC website.
  • The winners are also invited to a PMI-SAC Dinner Meeting as a guest where they are recognized.

Other ways we recognize our volunteers:

  • Professional development units (PDUs) for time spent volunteering.
  • Volunteer Spotlight. Volunteers are recognized and showcased with a profile and photo in the newsletter.
  • Access and discounts to events such as PMI-SAC dinner events, Stampede Party, and professional development conferences (some restrictions apply).
  • Invitation to the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event
  • Team coffee with the president
  • Volunteer appreciation team coffees and lunches
  • Special project work
